Ipsy Glam Bag- March 2014

The Ipsy Glam Bag for March arrived earlier this week for me and I've been paying with one or two of the items already. The Theme? Destination Beauty.

The contents:

The bag.
Ipsy has started up something new and cool. The bags are now being designed by featured artists and those that submit artwork and get picked through the New Artist Series. I thought this was a clever and unique feature. And I like the bright colorful bag designed by Klari and she's from the bay area so extra plus!.

Individual Product close up:
Be a Bombshell Eye Quad in Bora Bora
A set of 4 beautiful summer shades suitable for a destination vacation.
I'm looking forward to trying these colors.

Vita Liberata pHenomenal 2-3 week tan lotion.
I've never had to use tan lotion before...so yah.

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in Get Ready
"Creamy, super-saturated, ultra-pigmented color glides on like butter for
full coverage in a rich satin finish."
I was surprised to get a Bareminerals product! Very pleased because I love their lipsticks.
This one is very creamy and has vitamins a, c & e. It's a great color for probably anyone.
It came with a free sample of mascara and shipping code, feel free to whoever is the first to use it.

Here's a swatch.

Chella Indigo Blue Eyeliner
I was excited to get this, I did one eye to start and it was a bit difficult to control, once the eyeliner is on it is hard to come off so you need to take your time.
BUT when I went to continue to the next eye the pen had already dried out!
GAH.
So I'm sitting here with one eye lined darker than the other. 0_o

Nice color, but I wouldn't buy it.

4 products this month, I MIGHT try the self tanner, but being already tan naturally I don't need it.
So I will be using 2 out 4 products this month. Kinda bummed I didn't get the Nicole OPI polish or Pacifica lotion...

  1. You got some nice products to try (minus the tanning lotion, Lol), but like you I would have also wanted the polish or Pacifica lotion! Cool thing about the artist designed bags and that lipstick would be my favorite, I love their products :)
