NYFW Faves: Day Three & Four

I hope everyone had a very fashionable weekend! Now back to the grind...
There was soooo much fashion to catch up on this weekend but I chose wisely and fell in love with a few designers all over again.

NYFW Faves: Day Three 09.07.13
Prabal Gurung S/S 2014

PG is known for dressing Michelle Obama & Lady Gaga, his collection this time was inspired by Marilyn Monroe and the elegant modern woman. Oddly somehow I can see all three women wearing his designs! He was also drawing inspiration from roses, every rose has it's thorn!

Graphic sweaters with chic lavender pants.
Long live the sweater trend!

 This is just glamarama mama.
And I love the monochromatic lavender.

 Black, White,Yellow and
sheer goodness.
Also can we talk about the sunnies?! Love.

This one is for the ultra cool sophisticated lady.

And for the flirty fun lady!

NYFW Faves: Day Four 09.08.13
Tracy Reese Spring 2014

Tracy Reese was another designer this weekend that seemed to have every woman in mind.
I can see so many different personalities wearing these outfits.
Cuban inspired (hello fedoras!), fresh, feminine and the perfect play with patterns & colors.

Layered pants, I'm a pants kind of girl & I might actually wear these!
P.s. she's wearing a cool graphic backpack. So cute.

I had two choose another pant look. I love the knit sweaters and this blue and orange combo. The printed pant trend is going to be big next spring. I would  try it in blue.

I want this. My favorite shade of blue.
The model looks classy with the strappy sandal which is hard to pull off!
Tracy Reese hit the mark on this one.
Unexpected pattern mixing & those shoes!

Effortlessly lady-like elegance.
I scream for eyelets!

Honestly I wanted to pick the whole collections from both PG & TR. But that would take too long. Make sure to check out the full line, there's so many GOOD things.

What was your favorite show this weekend?

  1. Love Prabal's designs again - all the lavendar!! I ever thought that color would really be fashionable again, I can already see wearing it with navy and grey. I also love eyelets - so that is the perfect white dress for spring.
