NYFW Faves: Day Eight

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is dunzo.
My final recap and farewell for NYFW has arrived.
Whites and blacks were all the rage on the Spring 2014 runways, but also color, bright & mismatched patterns of colors. And if Ralph Lauren has anything to say for it neon's are back and demand to be noticed. I hope you all enjoyed my NYFW Faves blog edition.

NYFW Faves: Day Eight

Ralph Lauren
Ready to Wear Spring 2014

There was an endless amount of black and white on Lauren's runway. A nod to the 60s with mod influences and short skirts. The ones that really stood out to me were the striking colors, these will guarantee a grand entrance moment for celebs.

I'm also down for a sleek skinny black pant and a peplum top.

Statement making sunnies will complete your outfits come spring.

Simple. The buttons really stand out.
Giving an ordinary outfit a second glance or two.

 Great color blocked heels.

 Mono tone everything.

 Neon madness!

 The perfect shade of blue.

Grand Finale.
I can see this at an award show next year.
I'd like to see Olivia Wilde styled in this.

And that's all!
Check out a furry friend's blog (Ruckus the Eskie) on his and his "sapiens" take of Fashion Week ;)

Stay tuned this Sunday for my annual "Playing Dress Up" Target collab post. As I take pictures in a few of the pieces from 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collection and review the fits and sizes and all the mayhem! I'll be Tweeting, Facebooking, Instagraming my fun with fellow fashion blogger Nancy Lee from Fashionchicsta on opening day. A great end to Fashion Week!

  1. I am so in love with this collection. Everything just looks perfect. So classic and modern at the same time and very RL. Great wrap up! Two more days...
