Erickson Beamon + Bauble Bar: Draped in Pearls

Recently I won a giveaway from Reyal Fashion. Here is my fabulous prize of crystals and glass pearls cascading down in layers. It's by Erickson Beamon, a recent collaboration that was done with (a current fave jewelry find) Bauble Bar.

Here is the link if you want to shop this necklace: Pearl Jam Necklace by Erickson Beamon + BaubleBar

I was beyond excited to try it on so I just threw on this little Chanel-esque angora sweater from H&M. I thought it paired well, with that whole classy, rich lady look ;) Plus, You know Chanel and pearls just go together.

I should have worn lipstick, but like I said I was eager to show you my prized possession!

Erickson Beamon has created quite a cult following among the celebrity clientele, check out the jewelry mayhem going on here!

FYI: BaubleBar sells a $10 item every Friday! Don't miss the bauble of the week!

Menswear Fashion: Dude Looks Like a Lady

Menswear was seen all over runways recently. It's a really fun way to play with your work clothes. Giving your men's inspired clothing items a few touches of femininity and class and your ready to take on the world. Move over boys!

Here's a few of my favorite looks on the runway:

Donna Karen fall/winter 2012

Blazer and top hat feminized with a pencil skirt.

Michael Kors fall/winter 2012

Sleeveless jackets will be very popular this fall. Looks pretty with he touch of lace peeking out.

Marc by Marc Jacobs fall/winter2012

This is like the nerdy hipster look. Got the black frames and roll up your straight leg jeans. Instant street cred.

Marc by Marc Jacobs

Libarian look but sexified with red lipstick and a silk top, and manified with boots and loose fits.

Ralph Lauren fall/winter 2012

Obviously men's inspired. Totally grandpa look, but take away a few pieces like the vest and jacket and maybe replace it with a feminine crop jacket with lets say a bow on it, play it down is key to look more womanly.

Ralph Lauren

This men's coat would look cute with a frilly dress peaking under it and a cowl scarf with booties.

The Row fall/winter 2012

I would leave this look as is, and wear your hair down loose with waves and a few barrettes.

Lana Del Rey
Now this is what I'm talking about. Ready to wear men's inspired blouse, boxy shorts and loose curls. Just the right amount of dude and lady.

Brad Goreski (Stylist) created this little menswear tutorial. It inspired my own look below.

Clothes Encounters:
Cigarette Pants: Gap
Blazer: Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti
Blouse from The Usuals boutique
Pink Bow Kitten Heels: Jeffrey Campbell
Handbag: Kate Spade

What do you think of menswear on women? Whats your favorite look?

It's A Brad, Brad World: "The Big Day"

Ahhh it's the finale of Brad's World! Wah.

The BIG question is, will Brad (as Gary puts it) be a weeping queen on his big day?

While watching Brad & Gary talk about "their wedding" coming up (which is not their wedding btw but puts a lot of weddings to shame) Brad says something really endearing to Gary.

"Just know that no matter how much time I'm spending with my dresses, I'll always love you more than them."

Big day-big news, Brad gets word that Kate Spade is hiring him as their stylist! So flippin awesome. Kate spade is my all time favorite brand and having that extra spark of whimsy added by Brad is going to ice the cake!

Gary's reaction to Brad's anni gift was classic. "I got a watch for 10 years, it's like I've been with a really good company."

Brad still does not know about his surprise gift from Gary, so the gift non-exchange was a little awkward.

SO by now everyone knows the big surprise for Brad, a Le Mis flash mob!

Gary is the most awesome significant other (eh um. besides my own hubby). He and all their friends sang One Day More, in honor of a song that the couple sang to each other when they met in Greece! Enter "aweee" here.

"Success is so much more sweet when you have someone to share it with"-Brad.

Couldn't agree with you more Brad.

And on that note, au revior Brad's World, fingers crossed for a season 2.

Louis Vuitton Inspired Nail Art: Minty-Go-Round

I'm loving the mint trend for Spring 2012 right now. Pastels and metallic are making a come back, and paired together they are quite luxurious.

To get the look, simply pick up a Mint nail polish and a metallic, could be silver, gold or rose gold. Paint your nails as if you are painting a french manicure, so leave the tips for last. And Voila! Louis Vuitton Merry-Go-Round Pumps inspired nail art!

You can substitute Mint for any of these colors too!

Olivia Palermo pairing blue, white and silver for an effortless street style.

And for fun, I added on a little ensemble to match your mint-condition mani.

Oscar Nail Art: And Best Picture Goes To....

Just in case you didn't know my cleverly designed The Artist nail art was this one "..." !

Because well it was inspired by silent movies of course!

I actually saw this movie, it was pretty darn good. A little mopey, but entertaining.

Hope everyone enjoyed the show. I was particularly fond of Angelina Jolie's black velvet Atlelier Versace dress. I liked her pose as well. Not sure if she was poking jabs at everyone, but it got our attention.

Nail Art: And The Nominees Are...

In honor of one of the most anticipated award shows, I came up with some red carpet worthy nail art. Each nail represents a Best Picture nominee. So a total of 9 plus the coveted Oscar.

Can you guess which nail matches up with which nominee?
OR what nominee will match up with the Oscar?

Fab Five Friday: If You Like It Then You Shoulda Put Your Name On It.

This Fab Friday I picked my top five favorite ways to show off your name in the most stylish way!

Type Writer Initial Watch from Urban Outfitters

#FF everyday by showcasing your twitter handle
with this gorge rose gold plate necklace by Bauble Bar.

No one will tell you to put a cork in it with this art!
Gotta love a DIY craft project to creatively display your name while recycling all those wine corks from years of good times or a night of sulking.

I only drink cappuccinos that are branded. No j/k.
But it would make you feel kind of special right?

Last but not least, A stylish setting to plush up your bed or couch.
I'm crazy about the monogram embroidering. Perfect for the newly wedded or the forever in love.
$75-95 per pillow

It's a Brad,Brad World: "I Wore it Best."

Brad's back from Milan!

Shay is back and breaks in Brad's new style office, let's watch Brad break bad by dressing her as a girly bad ass chick, shall we?

Brad says this is def. worst dressed list territory.

I look good, right guys? Right? - YEAAHH

Things I learned today:

1. Pups crush on Brad speaks volumes.

"Even though he dresses like that she (Penelope) still thinks she's his girlfriend."-Gary

2. "Rose is like the gay mans beer."-Brad

3. Gary's crush on Brad, He would do anything for love...AND he will do that.
Proven by sitting on a mini fold chair (a thimble, monopoly piece) eating a fruit salad as Brad scurries off passing Go and collecting his money from his Details meeting.

Ahh the things we do for love.

Bradical Look of the Week:

[minus the situation happening on the left]
Brad's suit by: Thom Browne (loooove the mini black bow details all over the coat) Again, I want this coat. Second time in a row.

Next week is the finale, and Gary guarantees tears!

Fab Five Friday: Can't wait to Fall for 2012 Shoes

This week my Fab Five Friday was inspired by Fall fashion 2012 shoe designs! It's not even Spring yet and I'm already excited about Fall shoes. Typical.

Here's your shoe candy, eat it up kids.

Now this intrigues me, I'm going to have to make a Payless run.

Instant street cred, I'll say.

Manolo Blahnik for J.Crew Tweed Pumps

Yes...for J. Crew. Don't get too excited ladies. I hear that they are in the running somewhere between $500-$600!

Not your mommas tweed shoes. With the neon painted on top of the tweed pattern, this is sooo urban chic.

I hope this sattisfied your shoe fix for now. A girl can never have too many shoes!

Which kicks are you most pumped for?
