Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday 24: Playing Dress up

Phew that was fun!

This time the collection was held in THREE different stores, Neimans, Last Call and Target. I of course went to my local Target. Um 7:30ish and 5th in line thank you very much!

I was surprised how calm everyone was, no rushes or running or pushing. There was plenty of everything to go around.

The biggest disappointment was the Oscar de la Renta handbag. It was sad. It makes me sad how something of Oscars could look so un-chic. For awhile there I had the purse in my hands..but part of me just wanted it for name brand sake.  Fashionchicsta was there to slap some sense in me, and give me the real. I'm glad I didn't get it.

And on that note, even the Prabal Gurung clutch was sad looking. You could feel the cardboard it was made with inside. The Judith Leiber mirrors were fun sized, the Band of Outsiders beanies were WAY too big. The best accessories might have been the Alice and Olivia luggage (which I snapped a few shots of, it came with extra bags for your sunglasses, laundry, etc!) the Jason Wu ornaments were gorgeous in person and I loved the Proenza Schouler Ipad case.

Blah blah blah, on to the fun stuff! The dressing room!

Cute as a Cape! Cape by Prabal Gurung

Lacey and Poufy Girly Fun

 Robert Rodriguez dress (LOVE)
Interior to dress, it has a built in bra!

Proenza Schouler Hi Lo Graphic Art Sweater (Super cozy!) BOUGHT!

Interior of the amazing THOM BROWNE wool blazer.
Isn't it adorably fantastic?

Skaist Taylor Faux fur vest.
This is how I should dress.
      But I won't.

Tracy Reese sequin blouse.
This is gorgeous and I actually didn't mind the blue back.

Lela Rose cut out blouse.
IN LOVE. Even better on. I Bought this one OF COURSE!

Ok, here's some extra shots I got of the store and merch.

The wall of unwanted Oscar de la Renta bags.

 Three Alice & Olivia bikes!

Alice & Olivia Luggage.
Bad shot but super beautiful in person .

And the interiors!
Bags for laundry, shoes, sunglasses and an "other"  bag!

I wish they sold those interior bags on the side! I'm a big fan of fashion illustrations.

So I came home with two purchases. :) What did you guys get? I'm dying to know!

*Please excuse the messy hair & blurry pics!
Hah, it's too early for all this.

    1. I love the PS sweatshirt, I can't stop wearing it Lydia! The Tory Burch items seemed functional and at a good price. I may go back and buy the thermos.

    2. i didn't keep up with the collection like i normally do for each launch...so i didn't pay attention to what the lunch box was made of(tin or fabric). to my suprise it was fabric and a good suprise. the print is really nice and i thought well i could use it as a makeup bag for trips or my huge purses(aka my son's diaper bag...or a purse for simple days.
