DIY: Breakfast at Tiffany's Inspired Sleep Mask

This week went by FAST! This is my final Slumber Party before the Wedding Party feature and I'm ending it with some ZzZzz's, as any slumber party should end, right?

I'm a huuuge Holly Golightly fan so when my friend picked up these pink satin sleep masks, I knew there could only be one thing to do with them. DIY craft project! Yeah the Art Teacher in me rears it's crafty head at me again.

So here's the task: Turn this sleep mask into an uber chic Breakfast at Tiffany's style sleep mask!

 Materials:
You will need a plain mask to start off with.
This one was bought on Amazon.

Next, Have all your materials ready.
Craft Glue, Scissors, Sharpie, Matching color felt, "Eyelash Yarn" by Martha Stewart and Gold Rope. All can be found at Michaels.

Instructions:

Step 1: Using your Sharpie, draw on your felt fabric two large eyelids (connected U shaped) or as you might notice you can make your eyelids any shape you want!

Step 2: Proceed to cut them out.
Step 3: Glue the "Eyelash yarn" on the back of each eyelid, so they peek out at the bottom.
Step 4: Glue the eyelid down on to the sleeping mask.
Step 5: Wrap the gold rope around the outline of the mask.

Step 6: Let it dry and you are done!

Party hard Holly Golightly style and then sleep the day away!

Before we part, a qoute from my most favorite movie:

Holly Golightly: He's all right! Aren't you, cat? Poor cat! Poor slob! Poor slob without a name! The way I see it I haven't got the right to give him one. We don't belong to each other. We just took up one day by the river. I don't want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It's like Tiffany's.
Paul Varjak: Tiffany's? You mean the jewelry store.
Holly Golightly: That's right. I'm just CRAZY about Tiffany's!

from IMDB.

Hope everyone enjoyed the slumber party!
