"Seductiveness and sexiness." Not what typically comes to mind when you think about your next trip to Target. This is exactly what Altuzarra is bringing to his collaboration with Target & Net-A-Porter this September. This collection is definitely more sophisticated and fine tuned than many other previous Target collabs. I'm excited to see and try it all in person.
A 50 piece collection ranging from $19-$90. Here's the link to a look book posted by Harpers Bazaar. And another that has the individual pieces, not being modeled, on Refinery 29. And the Lucky look book for all the prices.
These are the few that I'm pretty blown away by...
I'm already in love with two pieces. The fringe scarf and the sweater are my must-haves, while the others are gorgeous to look at. I mean Hellooooo boots! Impractical for what I do, which is bake, blog and extreme shop ;), so I'm probably not getting those, but holy chic are they tempting. That blouse is also pretty darn fab, so I may be holding out on a few items once they hit the sale rack.
What do you think of the look book and my picks?
Any items going on your list?
And most importantly, will you be shopping come Sept 14?
Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter as I have been shopping these collaborations for years and can update you when the launch goes live. I will be posting on Sept 14th my "Playing Dress Up" post where I try on the collection pieces and give you a detailed review on fit and quality.

Dangerous, sexy, luxurious. What I am about to show you is not for the faint at heart. So let it be still.
Christian Louboutin just launched his latest creation and it's not shoes!
On Wednesday at Nordstrom it was a feast for the eyes.
ROUGE Louboutin is the very first nail polish (out of 30) to be released from the coveted designer nail polish collection. And as a nail polish fanatic & a sucker for packaging, I just had to have one. It's no bargain price at $50, but I'm taking it as a sign that I received my Nordstrom note of $20 that same day of the launch. Naturally, I used it towards my purchase, making it $30, no brainer for a collectible and swoon-worthy color of the Louboutin red sole.
The product is said to take 22 weeks to complete!
"Rouge Louboutin… a timeless, vibrant red suited to any skin tone. A true objet d’art of a dramatic 8-inch height inspired by the tallest heel Christian Louboutin ever created- the Ballerina Ultima. The iconic Rouge is encased in a faceted, weighted glass bottle with an unique ombré effect. The tall slender cap, inspired by calligraphy, turns the application into a luxurious experience, inviting women to take their time. The custom-designed, patented triangular brush picks up the right amount of formula, without air bubbles, to deliver flawless, chip-resistant coverage. A highly pigmented, super glossy formula delivers in just two coats the effect of 20 layers of traditional lacquer. Enclosed in a patent leather like finish presentation box with a red reveal." (christianlouboutin.com)
Fascinating and faceted glass crystal.
Did you know Christian Louboutin painted his first red sole with red nail polish?!
“The red sole was born from red nail polish. I am giving back to nails what the shoe took from the nails many years ago.”
The lacquer is a very striking red, and yes a one coat wonder. No need for a topcoat this patent leather-esque finish is just the perfect amount of shine. The handle had me worried since it is quite long, but it is surprisingly easy to work with. I enjoyed having the smaller brush, it made me take my time swiping on the polish so I was more careful, leaving a flawless look overall. No bubbles, no smudges. The texture even feels like patent leather. While there may be dupes out there (RiRi Woo by M.A.C is said to be comparable, although I haven't tried it myself) you are really paying for this extravagant bottle, it's a work of art and looks great on any vanity table. It's got some weight, made of glass and 4oz full of polish. And if you are the proud owner of your own red soled shoe, well this is the exact match to cover up scuffs.
One coat, no gloss, with a base coat. I'll update you when it chips!
Patent on Patent.
A splurge that's worth it for any Louboutin enthusiast or fashion lover.
It will last me forever and truly my most favorite red ever.
While I post mainly bargains, this is an exception and I got a "deal."
Sometimes with all that savings you just need to treat yo self. ;)

The July Ipsy Glam Bag is themed "Sensationally Sunkissed."
Basically almost everything is summer time friendly! The Bag itself is super cute with it's pink scallops and it's waterproof. The perfect makeup bag for your beach bag.
Let's take a closer look at the contents shall we?
1. Models Own Nail Polish in Red Sea. It's a full size topcoat with a sheer red tint. The glistening topcoat glimmers in the light. The hand cut glitters retract the light. It's pretty cool.
2. bareMinerals 5-in 1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF15. ***Coming up for air. That was a mouthful, which is why I sat staring at this product for a few minutes just trying to figure it out. I proceeded to put it on my eyelids not quite knowing what it was. It's kind of a primer...a bb eyeshadow-Nm, I'm still confused. I received Barely Nude and just like the name suggest it was barely nude....It was way to dark for my eyelids giving it like a black eye effect. OK obviously not the look I was going for. Suitable for a base, and the formula was workable.
3. Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 08. It's a natural, organic tanning oil with SPF. I was put off at first, since I'm not trying to attract skin cancer. But with the minimal SPF I think I'll try a quick leg tan on the patio and then run back inside the cave (house), hiss hiss!
4. Lord & Berry Kajal Stick. It's a kohl eye pencil in a rich creamy black. I love the intense black, but I didn't like the sample size...it was like waaaay mini sized, like the size of my thumb. I tried it without primer, fail. It immediately smudged and creased all over my eye.
5. Clear Clinic Laboratories Vanished Clear Spot Treatment. This super mini sample contains glycolic and salicylic acid, good for clearing up blemishes but too harsh for my skin since I'm using retin-a right now. Unfortunately I won't be able to test this one.
Overall, I'm sad to say I'm not too impressed with this months bag. I had a good run from Feb-June, with only two disappointing bags such as this month and Jan. I think what did it was the small sample sizes. Usually Ipsy hooks it up. But the pencil eye liner is so tiny it's not going to last more than a few shavings, with previous pencils I received full sized products!
I did really like the bag and the nail polish and I will try the spray soon. On another good note, a lot of other Ipsy subscribers got great bags, you should search them on insta, I was so jelly.
If you'd like to sign up for 4-5 beauty products a month for $10 use the link here-->http://www.ipsy.com/r/1pce
What did you guys think of this month's bag?

5 out 5 stars. A denim navy blue with almost a hazy gray affect, it's perfect for the bay area gloomy summer we are having right now. This is my fave shade out of the collection. Easy to apply, one stroke wonder, dried quickly without a smudge!
5 out of 5 stars. A bright lime green, reminds me of Nickelodeon slime, hey it's a compliment! I have no color like this in my own personal collection so it's a nice change of pace, fun and silly. The hubby liked it best, lol. Rich intense color, Two coats, dried fast.
5 out of 5 stars. A bright brilliant metallic blue. A vacation in a bottle. As mesmerizing as watching the ocean wave, you wont be able to take your eyes off the glimmering silver metallics. This was a one coat wonder- I did add two coats because I was curious as to how blue it would get. Def, better with two coats and dried fast.
Chrome Girl Top Coat over Makin' Waves
I wanted to show you how this shade looked like with a top coat. It appeared more glossy and watery. I like it without personally, but if you like a higher gloss you should go with this. It's a fantastic topcoat and like the nail polishes it..surprise, surprise, dries unbelievably fast!
3 out of 5 stars. I LOVE the color and the name. The formula unfortunately got streaky on me as you can see the lines and lumps above. Maybe it needs more wait time in between coats (this was 3 coats later), I was impatient and I had just applied nail polish remover so maybe that screwed it up.
I will have to give this another go, just to be fair.
4 out of 5 stars. A bit tricky like the other brights (the blue lacquers were the easiest to work with) it needs 2 or more coats for coverage. The color is a super bright coral and dries quick.
5 out 5 stars. Cheeky name, perfect nude, like literally matches my skin tone. It's a suede tan, and perfect year round not just for the beach. One coat is perfect, dries quick and a runner up to Summer Storm.
$12 a pop from ChromeGirl.
Have you tried Chrome Girl? Which shade is your fave?
